It installed XP, so my initial plan was to upgrade, one OS at a time, to Windows 10, but the XP was 32-bit and didn't allow me to install a 64-bit Vista Upgrade. Considering the core 2 duo is a very mature cpu, and that the laptop doesnt seem to heat that much, it might just work. The mac did't accept any of my USBs so I finnaly found a Windows XP CD that I had and inserted it. I was playing tf2 under Os X and the performance is just a tiny bit too low for good playing, i feel like a tiny overclock of the 1.4 ghz cpu would greatly help. Bootcamp created a partition and booted into a "No operating system found" screen.

UPDATED : still no love on this question, so changed it to at least asking if source code is available. Source: when I game in boot camp I do it with an overclocked GPU, and underclocked CPU. Alternatively, has anyone ever seen a way to overclock a 2008 Mac Pro that works in 10.9 or 10.10 I know I could replace my processors or upgrade, but I think Ive got a few years left in this rig.

This creates thermal headroom for GPU overclocking. Bootcamp still exists in it’s own partition, it’s just that the boot process on the Mac does not know to look there for a bootable thing. HOWEVER the Mac cooling system is at its limits, so in order to OC the GPU you will need to downclock the CPU, by turning off Intel Turbo boost. I was able to boot from the osx install cd but it is prompting me to startup as if it is a completely new fresh install. I'm having the same problem where my unibody macbook snow leopard can't even find the os x partition after running boot camp to install xp.
